Yemeni singer and composer Ahmed Qassem was a truly cosmopolitan artist, having studied in Egypt, France, and Russia at different times in his life and career. Heavily influenced by Egyptian composers, especially Farid al-Atrash, his work is highly sophisticated and heavily emotive.

This 7" ("You and No One But You" in English) is honestly one of the most amazing records in our collection, one of those that you can listen to many times and keep hearing new elements.
