Moualine Nouba | Al Wad (Al Keya) (Philips, 1973)

 

We often share what we're listening to on Twitter, including photographs of the physical media. A few days ago, Twitter user @nawafnoom asked where they could listen to the single by Moroccan group Moualine Nouba we had shown ourselves listening to a few months back.

We promised @nawafnoom we'd add it here; thus this post. A very rare record and the only release by the group, none are currently for sale on Discogs. We were not able to find any information about them anywhere -- Arabic readers, we'd appreciate your letting us know if you you find anything.

A housekeeping note of sorts: The cover lists the title of the song as "Al Wad"; however, the label says "Al Keya." But the release number (6278058) is the same on both cover and label. Not sure if it's a misprint, but it seems like it.
